We are progressing through the recording sessions, date by date, and writing Mix Notes that you will hopefully find insightful and applicable. These posts do not go into every detail about a session, but rather they tease out interesting stories and techniques.
Session Notes are more comprehensive details about each session. We are creating each Beatles Session Note so you can dive in further if desired. You’ll find a list of instruments and gear, personnel who were present, additional notes about the session, and sources for information.
We will be adding more details such as Signal Flow (the path from the instrument to the mono or stereo mix).
This is all a work in progress. We don’t just write a post and forget it. Rather, we go back and revisit it as we learn information and gain more knowledge.
